Thanks to the collaboration of these two channels the Operatic Competition’s performances will get to 70 countries. This year’s winners will also come in for gratuity. By the election of an international jury, the best male- and female performers will partake a 10-10.000 EUR award. At the same time the price of the participation was reduced to it’s half. Durring springtime the first winnowing will take place in Budapest, Moscow, Paris, New York, and Bergen. The second part of the winnowing will take place in Szeged in May. The final will be in National Theater in Szeged in 3-17 November 2010.

From the hungarian directors Róbert Alföldi in Bergen, Attila Vidnyánszky in New York, János Szász in Krakow put one-one piece on the boards.
